Welcome to my wonderfully non-aesthetic life in Central Minnesota!
I’m a wife, mom, animal lover, entrepreneur, rescue founder, farm rookie and someone who believes life is a whole lot more fun when it’s real.
My family and I live on a farm in Central Minnesota, where every day comes with a little bit of chaos, a lot of love, and plenty of animals who seem to think they run the place. Sharing our little piece of heaven with you has become one of my favorite things and honestly, it fuels my soul.
Around here, you won’t find a perfectly curated life. You’ll find real life, real messes, real moments, and things I genuinely love.
I’ve never claimed to be a style icon and that’s kind of the point. I love finding affordable, comfortable, wearable pieces that work for real women and real life. Whether I’m headed to the barn, running errands, spending time with my family, or dressing up a little, I want to share things that make you feel good without breaking the bank.
In 2015, my love for animals led me to start Grey Face Rescue, Minnesota’s senior animal rescue. Today, I’m proud to serve as the Founder and Executive Director of a rescue dedicated to giving senior animals the love, comfort, and second chances they deserve.
Rescue is a huge part of my heart and my everyday life and if you follow me for any amount of time, you’ll probably meet a few of our four-legged residents along the way.

Because apparently running a rescue and raising a family wasn’t enough… I also own a small boutique here in Central Minnesota! Whiskey & Dog Hair is everything I love wrapped into one place: leopard print, dark colors, comfortable style, and a little bit of attitude. It’s unique, cozy, and unapologetically me.
